We all need certainty
Through challenging times life still goes on. It is imperative to keep returning back to familiar activities in your life, in order to stay on track and let your mind rest with some normality. Starting your morning with what you would do during your normal work day will help clarify what you need to achieve and keep you focused on your goals. During this time of change, keeping structure to your weeks will help you push through!

Here is another Coaching on the Go Moment from real estate coach Caroline Bolderston.
Today my COTG is coming from my usual spot in the car, however in my driveway. Let’s face it, I’m not going anywhere right now. The purpose of me sitting in my car is to demonstrate that as human beings when we’re going through change, uncertainty or crisis, the more routine we need. The more familiarity we can have around us, in terms of structure and things that are normal in our lives, the better.
I am filming my COTG in my car, like always, because this makes me feel that business is going on. I’m still able to deliver and communicate to you my support and guidance.
What certainty have you got in your life right now?
What structure and familiar things do you have lined up so that you can feel that life is as normal as possible? A suggestion, as we move to a remote workforce, is that I encourage you and your teams to catch up every morning online at 8:30 or 9:00 am. Keeping up with what is happening in your team, what you want to achieve that day and what you need to focus on in one working day windows. As things could be different tomorrow.
By simply adding in structure and familiarity of still seeing your team, making sure you are still being there for each other every day is going to support you and your teams mental fitness and help deal with arising emotions over the coming days, weeks and months.
What do you need to set up that gives you certainty and familiarity so that you can go through these times and come out strong on the other side?
