Make your real estate client engagement count
Your client list is one of the most valuable pieces of digital marketing you have access to. So, how do you make every real estate client engagement count?
Show empathy towards your client list
Treat digital marketing much like you would customer service. While it might sound simple, by making sure you’re showing empathy and gratitude towards your clients every time you interact with them, your work can go a long way. Start by thanking your clients, be empathetic in response to any complaints or issues they’ve had and take the time to listen to them. Clients are more likely to spend more and remain loyal to you if they have a history of positive experiences.
Be aware of your clients
It’s your responsibility to follow up with every client, whether they’ve asked you a question on Facebook or requested a call from you. Whether you’re connecting with clients on the phones, via email, or by commenting on social media, it’s important that you’re present and aware of what information they’re after. Take the time to listen to your clients and learn more about what they’re after.
Ask for and process client feedback
Regularly asking clients for feedback via email or online surveys is a great way to identify any areas of concern that you may need to address. Surveys provide clients with an avenue to voice their thoughts and makes them feel valued by you. This feedback should always be used to better your process and improve the way you work in your future client engagement. Always thank your clients for taking the time to provide feedback too. This doesn’t have to be with a large gift, it can be as simple as a thank you email.
Remember to be human
Your clients aren’t looking for someone who uses real estate jargon and uses terms they don’t understand. It’s important that in all of your communications with clients, whether that’s in email or through your social media posts, that you use the language you would if you were talking to someone who knew nothing about what it is you do. Don’t be shy about using GIFs, emojis or hashtags on social media to make your posts a little more personal too. These small and personal touches can help you connect to clients more effortlessly, without compromising on your professionalism.
The key to making your interactions with clients count every time is to make sure you have a clear process of communication.
