Here is another Coaching on the Go Moment from real estate coach Caroline Bolderston.
Today, I’m sharing with you my belief around how critical and important it is right now for you to be BOLD. Those of you who know me know that everything I do is all about being bold.
What does it mean for you to be bold in the current climate? Faced with the impacts of your own unique circumstances? Well, it’s simple.
Let’s break down the word B.O.L.D. What does it stand for? How can you use this? How can you be bold?
Back yourself up
The B is about backing yourself. Your inner voice must be backing you up. You’ve got this. You have performed in this industry before. If you’ve been in it for six months, six years or well over a decade, you’ve got evidence everywhere that you know how to listen so that you can go out there and perform. So back yourself every day. Remind yourself of those instances where you’ve got this, you can handle it and you’ve performed before.
Own your results
The O is about owning your results. It’s so easy right now for you to let yourself off the hook of the outcomes that you should be achieving each day. Productivity matters. What you put out matters. Own your results. If you get six months down the track and you’re not in a great position with your business and your finances, is it because you didn’t own up and own what you did or didn’t do right now in April? It’s very important to own those results.
Leverage your opportunities
The L is simple, leverage your opportunities. Reach out to your industry relationships, your sphere of influence and your professional relationships. Leverage off your financial advisers, the accountants, your mortgage brokers, your solicitors. Have the conversations. Most importantly leverage your database. If there are people in your database talk to them and find out what’s going on.
Daily decisions
The D is all about the decisions you make each and every day. Are you desiring to do the things that you’re doing? Does it feel good and easy to maintain? Or are you deciding to do the actions and activities that you know will count?
Go out there, wake up today and tomorrow and BE BOLD. Apply the B.O.L.D structure and just see what difference it makes to you and your business.
Finally, remember my mantra ‘Just Do Today’. Stay in the moment, do as much as you can and we will get through this.
